• Foreign exchange affairs: • Part-time job listings • Creating a clientele base through alias, referrals and market penetration. • Generating high volume of quality business from existing customers via daily calls and client visits. • Ensuring existing and prospective Forex customers are served through daily and / or through regular telephone calls and client visits. • Actively identifying and seeking prospects from market and customer spectrum to drive and grow Treasury Forex income and Forex business share of wallet per customer. • Regularly liaising with the inter-bank existing counterparties and developing new relationships. • Money Market affairs: • Carrying out the dealing and foreign exchange activity from end to end whilst ensuring that all the bank’s interests are protected, and financial targets are met. • Effectively monitoring funds in all the Nostro and Clearing accounts to ensure the accounts are adequately funded to meet payment obligations and any surpluses are gainfully invested. • Carrying out all dealing activities within set approved limits to mitigate risks. • Ensuring a cordial and vibrant relationship with all treasury clients and other financial Institutions to foster Business growth. • Developing close contacts with the Business Units and customers to ensure Treasury services utilization is maximized. • Liquidity & Cash Management: • Supporting team in monitoring Cash Balances across branches. • Taking an active part in deposit mobilization to enable the MDI to grow its deposit base and boost liquidity. • Customer care: • Employing the teller customer service principles in the unit with respect to handling both internal and external customers.

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce /Business Administration accounting or Finance option). CPA/ACCA level two is an added advantage. • Basic Level ACI dealing certificate • 4 years banking experience 2 of which should be preferable have been in Forex Treasury environment and dealing in Forex and Money Market • A good in-depth knowledge of Treasury products, services and strategies and back-office operations. • A general knowledge of other bank products in particular trade and structured trade finance • Effective trading ability and good track record. • General understanding of financial risk management strategies and tools. • Competencies • To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: • Business Awareness • Should have a strong ability to manage relationships. • Ability to work in a dealing room environment. • Should be innovative and analytical • Should be able to use own initiative and take decisions with authority and confidence. • Should have a high ethical and moral code. • General Banking Knowledge and skills in Sales • Should be a first-class communicator. • Should be a good Team Player • Should be open to New Ideas in a rapidly changing Business Environment.
