• To manage and provide leadership role to the training school team. • Developing security training course curricula, including learning objectives and core competencies. • Coordinating the standardization and contextualization of security training materials. • Managing the selection, screening, databasing and relationships with third party training vendors. • Managing awareness of humanitarian sector best training practices, developments and tools. • Enabling regular reviews and reporting on compliance. • Administrative and logistics planning in the training delivery. • Providing capacity building, technical direction and guidance on security training, competency and behavior of recruits and staff.

• Minimum of five (5) years in a similar position with three (03) years at supervisory level • Demonstrable experience in training delivery skills • Experience in managing teams in a dynamic environment • Skills & Abilities:Strong management and leadership skills together with excellent communication, influencing, negotiating and engagement skills. • Ability to demonstrate and uphold SGA Security mission, vision, values and ethics. • Ability to demonstrate sensitivity and understanding of diversity and cultural differences, gender issues and commitment to equal opportunities • Ability to make important decisions in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to remain calm under pressure and take control of incidents. • Ability to organize and plan a demanding workload and work within tight deadlines. • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently. • Ability of writing procedures, drafting reports, preparing and compiling and adjusting duty rosters to meet short falls in staffing levels • Attributes: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Demonstrable evidence of creative initiatives. • Ability to multitask and work long hours whenever required. • Collaborating and Teamwork • Relationship Building. • Excellent training management skills, including design. • Disaster recovery management • Minimum qualification:bachelor’s degree in education or related field. • Experience in security training/Police/UPDF will be an added advantage. • Must be below 50 years of age.
