The opportunity

Basket Advisory has secured a major mandate to roll out digital bus ticketing across Uganda. We need a field leader to bring bus operators onto the platform, activate bus parks and hit ticket sales targets.

What you will do

• Onboard bus operators: map operators, pitch owners and directors, close sign-ups and manage go-live.
• Drive ticket sales: deliver daily and monthly digital ticket sales targets across your parks.
• Run bus park activations: booths, promotions, launch days and on-the-spot ticketing support.
• Own brand visibility: branding installed and maintained at counters, buses and park entrances.
• Manage local teams: recruit, train and supervise agents and field staff across multiple parks.
• Report: daily and weekly updates on onboarding, sales, activations and competitor activity.

What you need

• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Transport/Logistics or related field.
• 2-4 years in field sales, B2B sales, agent acquisition or sales operations, with targets met.
• Experience managing field or agent teams.
• Good knowledge of Uganda’s bus parks, routes and transport operators.
• Fluent English and Luganda; comfortable with smartphones, mobile money and Excel/Sheets.
• Willing to work in bus parks daily, including early mornings, weekends and upcountry travel.
• Must own a working laptop.

Added advantage

• Personal working relationships with CEOs, directors or owners of bus operators.
• Experience with a ticketing, mobility, mobile money or fintech company.
• Experience running BTL activations or brand campaigns.
