• To be responsible for the delivery of specialist speech and language therapy services at the health center including assessment, diagnosis and therapy specifically for children and adults in the region,
• Provide specialist intervention demonstrating clinical effectiveness using evidence-based practice and outcome measures while being able to adapt practices to meet individuals needs,
• Provide specialist therapy services utilizing a variety of service delivery models including individual, joint, multidisciplinary, group directed sessions.
• Use specialist knowledge of standardized assessment and other assessment tools in combination with advanced reasoning skills to record baseline measures and/or differential diagnoses,

• Manage a highly complex of children with physical disabilities, severe or profound learning difficulties and complex needs,

• Develop and implement speech and language programs for individuals and groups using expertise to create innovative and effective ways of working where appropriate to maximize individual students’ potential,
• Regularly monitor and review the patients ongoing communication needs, and provide written documentation and report as needed at a professional level,
• Provide assessment for current and prospective patients as needed,
• Work alongside and train other professional staff and others as required.

• Recognized degree program in Speech and Language Therapy either BSc or MSc or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in school or clinical practising interventions and assessments, of Speech and Language therapy, preferably with children
• Be a member of an professional SLT association in respective country

• Experience of working with parents, carers and rehabilitation patients,
• Knowledge and skill in providing SLT assessment and intervention relevant to the service users
• Knowledge and understanding of the application of relevant SLT diagnostics, theoretical models, and approaches relevant to service users
• Understanding of and ability to apply the principles of risk assessment and risk management
• Awareness of clinical governance and its relationship to clinical effectiveness and service user’s safety and service user’s experience
• Basic Makaton sign language training
