Job Summary

He is going to join the team and be part of the food preparation and serving team for patients on locum, with 1 day off per week.

Job Details

• Deliver meals, snacks, and beverages to patients in wards according to prescribed diets.
• Verify patient meal trays against dietary instructions.
• Ensure meals are served at the correct temperature and in a timely manner.
• Assist patients, where necessary, with opening food containers or setting up trays.
• Collect used trays, crockery, and cutlery after meals and return them for cleaning.
• Report any patient feedback, complaints, or issues with meals to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in food trolleys, trays, and serving equipment.
• Follow hospital infection control and food safety standards strictly.
• Support the nutrition team in monitoring food consumption if required.
• Show courtesy, patience, and empathy when interacting with patients.

Requirements

• Diploma in Catering or a related field.
• At least 1 year experience in hotels service.
• Previous experience in healthcare catering or patient meal service is an advantage.
• Previous experience in healthcare catering or patient meal service is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of nutrition and special diets.
