• Assist and support bank administration in its finance function and ensure timely and accurate reporting of all financial records, reporting and interpretation to management. Provide support in meeting the business revenue targets, minimize costs and maximize profitability through timely and accurate performance reports. • Assist in preparation of annual Budget under the guidance • and supervision of the Finance Manager/ Head of Finance. • Assist the Finance Manager/Head of Finance in overseeing general ledger monitoring and security to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and regulatory requirements. • Assist the Finance Manager/Head of Finance in maintaining internal control, safeguards and coordinates all audit review of financial records and functions by both internal and external auditors. • Work with Finance manager to develop timely and accurate financial management reports reflecting the true activities of the bank on periodic basis as may be required by both internal and external stake holders. • Assist in preparation and finalization of monthly staff salary and related matters, NSSF, Tax payments related to customers and Bank, payments to Vendors etc. • Submission of all statutory returns of Bank pertaining to shareholders/BOU/ other regulators timely. • Promote and cross sell banking products and services to customers. • Ensure compliance of regulatory and banking policies and guidelines. • Timely Submission of regulatory return pertaining to other departments like credit, Risk, Treasury • Assist Finance Manager in maintenance of Fixed Asset Register of Bank. • Preparation of ECL/IFRS9 and reporting to the authority timely. • Any other duties assigned from time to time by management.

• The ideal candidate will have the following: • Degree in a Business related field from a recognized Institution. • At least CPA Level II with three years minimum experience in finance management/ Department in a Bank/financial Institution. • Experience in supervisory role is added advantage. • A proven and extensive track record gained within financial management from a financial institution. • Highly organized person, with ability to multitask with ease • Suitable basic knowledge in Computer is a must.
