Senior Accountant

Brief Summary About The Job

To oversee the company’s accounting function by ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, supporting budgeting and compliance,and providing timely financial information to support business decision-making across the Med Optics network.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related business field.
• Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is required.
• At least 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing management accounts and financial statements.
• Sound understanding of internal controls, audit processes, and risk management.
• High level of analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (Odoo experience is an added advantage).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with a high level of integrity.
• Ability to meet strict reporting deadlines and work under pressure.
