It supports a diverse portfolio of clients including large-scale international brands through recruitment, workforce planning and deployment, payroll and people management services (PMS), and specialised outsourcing solutions. As part of its continued regional growth agenda, Q-Sourcing Ltd is seeking a results-driven Sales Growth Manager to lead revenue generation and market expansion efforts in the Ugandan market

Job Purpose

The Sales Growth Manager (SGM) is responsible for defining and driving Q-Sourcing Uganda’s (QSSU) growth strategy, with a sharp focus on revenue generation, market expansion, and business development. Reporting directly to the Head of Business, strategic Markets Uganda, the SGM will identify and capture new business opportunities, build and sustain a resilient sales pipeline, forge strategic partnerships, and grow QSSU’s market share within Uganda’s workforce solutions and outsourcing industry.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Growth Leadership

  • Develop and execute a robust, data-informed growth strategy for Uganda that aligns with the Q-Sourcing Group’s overall mission, vision, and commercial objectives, with the aim of driving sustainable revenue growth.
  • Translate the Head of Business, Strategic Markets Uganda’s commercial priorities into a clear, actionable growth plan, complete with targets, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Provide input into annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring sales targets are realistic, ambitious, and grounded in market intelligence.

Market Penetration & Expansion

  • Identify and prioritise new market opportunities across sectors relevant to workforce outsourcing (e.g. banking, telecommunications, FMCG, NGO, manufacturing, and public sector) in Uganda.
  • Establish and execute sector- and market-entry strategies that strengthen QSSU’s competitive positioning and unlock new revenue streams.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and regulatory environment in Uganda, adjusting strategy proactively to protect and grow market share.

Pipeline Development & Revenue Delivery

  • Build and oversee a high-quality, well-qualified sales pipeline that drives continuous business growth and consistent achievement of revenue targets.
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle for strategic accounts from lead generation and proposal development through to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Set up and closely monitor sales operations to achieve operational excellence, ensuring targets are tracked, reported, and course-corrected in real time.

 Client Acquisition & Retention

  • Design and implement client acquisition and retention strategies that enhance customer lifetime value and strengthen long-term client relationships.
  • Act as a senior relationship owner for key clients, ensuring service delivery consistently meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Develop tailored value propositions for prospective clients, demonstrating a clear understanding of their workforce and business needs.

Strategic Partnerships & Stakeholder Management

  • Forge and manage strategic partnerships that expand QSSU’s reach, credibility, and service offering within the Ugandan market.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure profitability and seamless client onboarding and delivery.
  • Represent QSSU at relevant industry events, forums, and networking platforms to build brand visibility and generate leads.

Market Intelligence & Performance Management

  • Leverage data analytics and market research to gather insights on customer needs, competitive dynamics, and emerging trends in Uganda, adjusting growth strategies accordingly.
  • Establish and track agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of growth initiatives, ensuring alignment with revenue and Ugandan market-share goals.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and business reviews for the Head of Business, Uganda, highlighting progress, risks, and recommended actions.

Reporting: Data driven reports to enable management to make decisions

Skills and Competencies
  • Strategic and commercially minded, with a strong bias for measurable results and revenue impact.
  • Collaborative, working effectively across departments to unify growth efforts and drive shared accountability.
  • Culturally attuned, with a deep understanding of Uganda’s business environment and market dynamics, and the ability to adapt strategies to local context.
  • Resilient and self-driven, comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy against ambitious targets.
  • An excellent communicator and negotiator,

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in sales or business development role, ideally within professional services, outsourcing, HR/workforce solutions, or a related B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and market-share targets.
  • Strong proficiency in CRM/Sales Force Automation tools, MS Office, and data-driven reporting.
  • Sound understanding of the Ugandan commercial and regulatory landscape.
