Are you confident approaching retailers, negotiating product listings and turning new accounts into repeat customers?

Mujuni Ventures Ltd is looking for a proactive, results-driven Retail Listing & Activation Agent to grow Too Good Yogurt’s presence across Kampala.

THE ROLE

You will identify suitable outlets, secure product listings, generate opening orders and support repeat purchases. Success means building active, profitable retail accounts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and map potential supermarkets, mini-markets, grocery stores, restaurants and canteens within assigned territories.

• Engage outlet owners and purchasing managers, presenting Too Good’s products, pricing, retailer margins and supply arrangements.

• Secure listings, appropriate shelf space and first orders within approved commercial terms.

• Confirm that outlets have suitable, working refrigeration before onboarding.

• Coordinate with sales and distribution teams to ensure timely opening deliveries and replenishment.

• Follow up on product visibility, pricing, stock rotation, customer feedback and repeat orders.

• Support approved sampling and promotional activities.

• Maintain accurate outlet records and submit daily activity updates and weekly performance reports.

• Report competitor activity, retailer objections and opportunities for growth.

• Hand over activated accounts to the designated salesperson with complete records and agreed next steps.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Demonstrated experience in FMCG sales, retail recruitment, merchandising or product listing; dairy or chilled-product experience is an advantage.

• Good knowledge of Kampala’s retail market and ability to plan efficient field visits.

• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to use a smartphone and basic spreadsheets or sales reporting tools.

• Integrity, initiative and discipline in following up on commitments.

• Willingness to work primarily in the field and meet agreed targets.

HOW SUCCESS WILL BE MEASURED

• New outlets receiving paid first orders.

• Conversion of new accounts into repeat customers.

• Outlets remaining active after 30 and 60 days.

• Sales and contribution generated from recruited outlets.

• Efficient use of field expenses.

• Quality of outlet records, reporting and handovers.
