• Process and reconcile reinsurance premiums, claims, and commissions. • Accurately record reinsurance transactions, including proportional and non-proportional treaties. • Prepare and submit journal entries for reinsurance-related activities. • Reconcile accounts payable/receivable related to reinsurance balances. • Prepare Reinsurance bordereaux for premiums, commission, and • claims • Prepare reconciliations relating to Facultative and other various Programs and prepare quarterly reinsurance statements for reinsurers • Reconcile reinsurers’ statements to account for Ledger balances. • Reconcile Reinsurance balances with the respective participants on the treaty and Facultative arrangements. • Calculate and record reinsurance-related adjustments, including premium adjustment and profit commission. • Review and interpret reinsurance contracts to confirm correct financial treatment.

• Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field • Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent). • 3-5 years of accounting experience, with 1 year focus on reinsurance or insurance preferred. • In-depth knowledge of reinsurance accounting principles and contract structures. • Required Skills • Proficiency in financial accounting systems. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis. • Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet tight deadlines. • Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail and Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
