Regional Sales Manager – 2 Positions

This role reports to the National Sales Manager and is based in Uganda. we are seeking a dynamic, results-driven sales professional to spearhead our regional growth initiatives and optimize sales team productivity across Uganda.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Execution: Formulate and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with regional revenue targets and overall company objectives.
• Team Leadership: Direct, mentor, and inspire the regional sales team to foster a high-performance culture and consistently achieve sales targets.
• Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including major distributors, wholesalers, and key accounts.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify emerging business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
• Performance Reporting: Generate and present detailed sales reports, revenue forecasts, and performance analytics to senior leadership.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the marketing division to design and execute impactful promotional campaigns and go-to-market strategies.
• Any other duty as assigned from time to time.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience as a Regional Sales Manager or in a comparable role within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector.
• Demonstrated, hands-on experience managing general trade channels.
• Exceptional leadership capabilities with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams, complemented by outstanding communication and negotiation skills.

• Strong proficiency in interpreting sales data, generating market insights, and translating trends into actionable strategies.
• Fully proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively within the region as business needs require.
