KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of health-related project activities in alignment with project objectives.
• Strengthen collaboration with district health offices, community health workers, health facilities, local leaders, and civil society to improve referral systems and service delivery.
• Supervise and support a team of health staff including mental health professionals and peer educators.
• Integrate adolescent SRHR, maternal health, and climate resilience strategies into community health services.
• Organize and deliver trainings on adolescent-friendly and climate-responsive healthcare approaches.
• Oversee data collection, monitoring, reporting, and documentation of project outcomes and best practices.
• Represent UYDEL at health coordination meetings, stakeholder engagements, and relevant forums.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
• Required Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Midwifery, or a related healthcare discipline (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
• Must be a registered midwife with a solid background in maternal and adolescent health.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing or coordinating health programs—preferably in urban slums or with youth-focused projects.
• Strong understanding of SRHR, mental health, and the health impacts of climate change.
• Proven ability to collaborate with NGOs, government health services, and community health systems.
• Experience in supervising healthcare teams, facilitating trainings, and building effective referral systems.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, communication, and report-writing skills.
