The Government of Uganda through the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development (MGLSD) is implementing the Chemical Safety and Security (CHESASE) Programme. The core objective of the Chemical Safety and Security (CHESASE) Programme is to strengthen institutional, technical, and operational capacities for hazardous chemicals emergency planning, response, and management through;

• The promotion of sound chemicals management at workplaces.
• Sustained education and awareness across the chemical life cycle.

 

The Ministry now invites suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following vacancies under the Chemical Safety and Security (CHESASE) Programme.

1. One (1) Programme Technical Ofiicer
2. One (1) Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Interested persons should deliver applications including a cover letter, current Curriculum Vitae (not more than 4 pages), a copy of the national ID, and copies of relevant and applicable Academic Certificates and Transcripts, to Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development’s General registry on 2^nd Floor, Gender and Labour House, Plot 2, George Street not later than 17:00hrs on 15^th, May, 2026.
