• Cherry Procurement • Manage cherry purchases from direct farmers, suppliers/traders, and the FSU field team. • Ensure cherries meet quality standards as per company strategy. • Maintain strong supplier relationships to secure consistent, high-quality supply. • Production & Processing • Supervise the transformation of cherry to parchment at the washing station. • Ensure quality control throughout the production process. • Oversee the drying of parchment to optimal moisture levels. • Logistics & Stock Movement • Coordinate transport of parchment from the washing station to the drying yard and onward to the Kampala mill. • Monitor and report daily on purchasing volumes and stock movement. • Labour & Resource Management • Hire, allocate tasks, and supervise casual labour at both the washing station and drying yard. • Ensure efficient use of company resources and minimize waste. • Reporting & Compliance • Submit daily reports on procurement levels, stock status, and operational updates. • Ensure adherence to company policies and operational procedures.
