AQUA Group is looking for an experienced and results-driven *Procurement Manager* to join our team in *Uganda*.

We are seeking a procurement professional with strong strategic and operational expertise, capable of managing procurement activities, supplier relationships, negotiations, and ensuring cost-effective and high-quality sourcing.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
* Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing and supplier selection to contract management and delivery.
* Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers.
* Lead supplier negotiations to achieve competitive pricing, quality, and favorable terms.
* Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with agreed standards and contracts.
* Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and applicable local regulations.
* Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities to identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business and operational requirements.
* Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and performance metrics.
* Drive continuous improvement across procurement processes and supply chain activities.

Requirements

* Minimum 8 years of experience in Procurement**, with proven experience in a managerial or senior procurement role.
* Strong experience in **strategic sourcing, supplier management, negotiation, and contract management**.
* **Experience within the African market is highly preferred.**
* Strong knowledge of local and regional supplier markets.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic business environment.
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office.
