• Prepare and dispensing medicine to patients as per prescription • Ensuring the general cleanliness of the department : dipensary , shelves and dump dusting the drugs. • Handing over of , "change of duty", reports within colleagues in the department • Actively participating in stock take that is carried out every end of the month • Ensure that all drugs in the pharmacy are properly arranged and organized in their respectively shelves according to purpose they serve • Ensure proper temperature monitoring recording for cold chain drugs • Dispensing drugs to both in patients and out patients using prescriptions from internal doctors any that would be from external doctors • Daily reporting of pharmacy sales and available stock and its value through the use of medic system

• Certificate in pharmacy , nursing from a recognized institution • Registration with Allied health Professionals Council, and Uganda Midwives and Nursing Council • A valid practicing license • Additional knowledge regarding management of a Pharmacy / Dispensary • A minimum of one year experience working in a similar role in busy setting • Knowledge of Luganda will be desirable • Proficiency with computers and technology such as typing, word processing , advance spreadsheets, presentations and webmail • Interpersonal , written and oral communication skills • Ability to exercise good judgement . show initiative , be proactive , work with minimum supervision and accomplish tasks within the required timeframe • Ability to work as a part of the team • Team player, high integrity, trustworthy and self-disciplined
