We are Hiring: Pastry Chefs (06) – Central Kitchen

Are you a creative baker experienced in high-volume production?

Hugamara Group is looking for Pastry Chefs in Kampala to prepare high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods for our Central Kitchen!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, cakes, and breads, ensuring consistency in quality, taste, and presentation.
2. Support recipe development, creative dessert innovations, and dessert plating for various outlets and events.
3. Maintain efficient baking schedules, monitor stock levels, and minimize wastage through proper production planning.
4. Uphold strict food hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards while keeping workstations clean and organized.

Qualifications:

1. Certificate, Diploma, or training in Pastry, Bakery, or Culinary Arts (an added advantage).
2. 3+ years of experience in a professional pastry or bakery environment.
3. Strong understanding of pastry production and dessert presentation; experience in high-volume hospitality or Central Kitchen setups is preferred!
