Our client is a company incorporated in Uganda and providing consultancy services devoted to developing the energy Industry and is seeking to employ an Operations’ Coordination Engineer to work on the Kingfisher Project in Kikuube District

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the team in executing cold cutting and fishing operations across different wells.
- Responsible for HSE-related work on the well site and warehouse, including site inspections and report submissions.
- Participate in identifying potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Responsible for applying and maintaining operation documentation.
- Participate in mechanical equipment preventive maintenance, routine checks, and records, and promptly report abnormalities to supervisors.
- Ensure worksite cleanliness and safety are maintained.
- Responsible for coordinating daily operational activities on the well site and preparing technical reports.
- Support the corporate culture and policies of the company and implement the company’s policies, procedural aids, and other requirements.
- Follow the arrangements of the team leader and maintain a positive attitude toward work.
- Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Atleast1 year of working experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- HSE-related training certificate required; a well control certificate, including IADC or IWCF, is preferred.
- Strong professional English skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Self-motivated, hardworking and able to thrive in demanding work environments.
