• Help the Toolpusher measure and number drill pipes, casing, and tubing. • Check drill pipe threads and bores. Perform drifting. • Inspect all casing, tubing, and accessories on-site. • Remove thread protectors, clean threads, and drift casing. • Manage site tool sledge, spare parts sledge, and catwalk toolbox. • Collect and store substructure pins, derrick pins, and lock pins. • Handle pipe thread protectors and lifting slings used on site. • Maintain lighting around the rig location. • Keep the work area clean and organized. • Manage all solid waste at the rig site. • Follow safety procedures and keep the work environment safe. • Support the rig crew with other tasks as assigned by management

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification • Knowledge of oil and gas operations is an added advantage • Strong communication skills • Ability to work well in a team environment • Excellent interpersonal skills
