• Conduct technical inspections at the designated Regional Office and prepare reports in line with the Commission’s mission of developing a robust communications sector that drives economic growth. • Conduct spectrum measurements/monitoring in the designated Regional Office and prepare timely reports. • Maintain an updated database of technical data and UCC assets register at the designated regional office including remote monitoring stations. • Conduct enforcement procedures on noncompliance of operations following license terms and conditions at the designated Regional office. • Assist head office staff in executing routine procedures and resolving technical requests and complaints at the designated Regional Office and prepare appropriate responses. • Mobilise external stakeholders to attend and participate in UCC workshops, competitions and any other event organised at the designated Regional Office. • Troubleshoot technical problems for UCC technical equipment and assist in the preparation of appropriate responses to technical complaints in the region. • Maintain flexibility to accommodate any other duties assigned by the line supervisor from time to time. • Key Performance Indicators • Technical issues resolved on the first customer contact and remotely without on-site visits. • Average time taken to respond to a support request. • Customer satisfaction with IT support services. • Incidents that require escalation to higher support levels. • Compliance with agreed-upon SLAs for response and resolution times • Average downtime for IT equipment within the region.

• Education and Professional Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication engineering or Electrical engineering or related field. • Working Experience • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering in a similar corporate environment. • Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities • Technical • Technical maintenance skills • Report writing skills. • Resources management • Behavioural • Communication and interpersonal skills • Multi-tasking and attentive to details
