• Ensure that yourself and team adhere to health and safety practices set out by the company • Conducting toolbox safety talks with your team daily • Ensure that your team has the required resources needed to perform their duties • Motivating your team to perform to their best and constantly improve, adhering to time keeping • Ensuring that the members of your line feed their fish properly to ensure maximum growth rate and minimum FCR • If there are any issues with any cages that these be solved and/or reported to the line manager • Ensuring feeders are collecting and disposing mortalities correctly • Weekly reviews of each units feeding performance with the team leader. • Daily checks of each cage: you need to spend time with each feeder feeding each cage daily. • Every feeder should have their empty feed bag count verified against what they fed that day. • Placing an order of feed for your line(site) with the feed store supervisor for the following days feeding requirements • Will also be required to feed when feeders are on leave. • Carry out other tasks when needed as specified by the line manager

• Bachelor’s degree in fisheries and aquaculture • Experience with cage farming is beneficial • Must be able to swim • Good excel skills • PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES • Hardworking, capable of being involved in farming operations • Good interpersonal skills • Must be confident to give out instructions and lead a team • Must show good endurance and persistence. • Must have an eye for detail • Must be willing to constantly learn more and develop their knowledge and skills
