KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• 1. Provision of clinical services to Watoto village clinics. • Provide high-quality, evidence-based clinical services tailored to the needs of Watoto childcare clients. • Deliver patient-centered care, prioritization of examinations, diagnoses, treatment, and emergency response. • Coordinate referrals, review patient information, and follow up with specialists for • feedback and management plans. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to Watoto Medical Services and Ministry of Health guidelines. • Contribute to policy development and guideline creation for standardized care. • Actively contribute to monthly village meetings, weekly clinic meetings, and team meetings, and assist the Clinic Coordinator with strategic planning and development. • 2. Education, Teaching and Mentorship. • Maintain knowledge and skills through regular training and education. • Evaluate clinical staff’s knowledge and practice gaps and develop tailored education and • Support cross-departmental staff training and education on health topics. • Engage in health promotion initiatives, such as health education and immunizations, as coordinated by Watoto Medical Services.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
• The applicant for the role should hold at least a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery. • Master’s degree in public health is an added advantage. • ‘ A minimum of 2 vears’ post internship work experience in a clinical role • Practicing License (APL) from Uganda Medical & Dental Practitioners’ • Possess clinical expertise, good communication, and problem-solving skills. • Possess Adaptability and Flexibility. • A team player, result oriented, self – motivated, able to work with minimum supervision. • Willingness to regularly travel and work in hard-to-reach areas. • Ability to work in a multi-cultural setting.
