• Planning & Coordination: • Develop and implement efficient logistics plans to support operations. • Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities within Uganda and across borders if applicable. • Inventory Management: • Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring timely replenishment. • Maintain accurate records of inventory movement. • Transportation & Shipping: • Organize and oversee local and international shipments. • Liaise with transporters, freight forwarders, and customs agents. • Compliance & Documentation: • Ensure compliance with Ugandan customs and import/export regulations. • Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and clearance paperwork. • Supplier & Vendor Management: • Manage relationships with suppliers and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. • Negotiate contracts and service agreements. • Reporting & Analysis: • Generate regular reports on logistics performance, costs, and challenges. • Analyze data to recommend process improvements. • Team Management (if applicable): • Supervise logistics staff and provide training where necessary. • Promote a culture of safety and efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field. • Proven experience (2-5 years) in logistics or supply chain roles, preferably in Uganda or East Africa. • Strong knowledge of Ugandan customs regulations and local transport systems. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure. • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
