• Undertake legal research to support the review and development of capital markets laws. • Prepare contracts and other legal documents to protect the interests of the CMA. • Organize stakeholder engagements. • Formulate and draft legislation, guidelines, circulars and notices on behalf of the Authority. • Represent the CMA as part of the legal team during the course of litigation and prosecution. • Represent CMA in taskforces, working groups and other forums.

• An honors Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized institution/ University • A post-graduate diploma in legal practice is required. • Experience and Skills • At least 03 years post qualification in-house legal practice experience in an organization within the financial services industry; or in private practice • Demonstrable experience in legislative drafting and review • Good analytical and problem-solving skills. • Good legal drafting skills. • Strong communication and presentation skills.
