As a Laundry Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring our guests and the team enjoy clean, fresh and well-presented linens and uniforms every day.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Wash, dry, iron and fold hotel linens, uniforms and towels to the highest standards
• Sort laundry by color, fabric and type before washing
• Operate washing machines, dryers and irons safely and efficiently
• Ensure correct use of detergents and follow washing instructions
• Inspect linens and report any damages or stains that cannot be removed
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the laundry area and storage rooms
• Ensure timely delivery of clean items to the relevant departments
• Assist with inventory of linen and laundry supplies
• Follow health, safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervison

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in laundry or housekeeping (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of laundry equipment and products
• Ability to read and follow instructions
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
• Neat appearance and good personal hygiene
• Ability to work on weekends and public holidays
• Honest, reliable and hardworking
• Ability to work as part of a team
