These are full-time faculty position based in Kampala, Uganda.

1.    Instructor / Assistant Lecturer -Anatomy

The incumbents will report to the Vice Dean of the School of Nursing and Midwifery (SONAM).

Roles and Responsibilities

·      Teach undergraduate courses.

·      Actively contribute to the body of nursing knowledge through research and publication.

·      Provide student mentorship, counselling, and academic support.

·      Contribute to academic administration and program development offered by SONAM.

·      Maintain active clinical practice and professional development.

Qualifications and Experience

• Master of Science in Human Anatomy with an undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Nursing Science or Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery or Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences from a recognized university.
• Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education and PhD qualifications will be an added advantage.
• Registration with the relevant professional regulatory body, where applicable.
• A current practicing license. (where applicable)
• At least two (2) years of clinical/teaching experience in a hospital or academic institution.
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
