KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the recruitment processes of all staff members in close coordination with the heads of department
• 2. Proactively ensure optimal staffing levels through regular assessment of workforce needs and the recommendation of the required manpower
• 3. Manage the staff benefits administration processes by ensuring that all the benefit claims, information and policy changes are accurately actioned within the agreed timelines
• 4. Manage the employee exist process in alignment with the regulation and the bank policy
• 5. Act as a focal point for all controls in HR to drive a good control environment by close monitoring, and ensuring Compliance to internal and external regulations
• 6. Provide training and guidance to bank employees on regulatory matters and bank policies
• 7. Lead the document management process to ensure safe and secure management of employee records
• 8. Monitor and manage all HR service providers to support service delivery to all employees of BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd
• 9. Prepare periodic staff information reports to guide decision making and act as focal point for all HR Data reports
• Manage the performance and the development of the unit staff in line with the division workplan and the bank strategy

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
• 1. Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Social Sciences or Organizational Psychology
• 2. 1-3 years of experience at supervisory level and above, preferably in the financial services institution
• 3. Strong knowledge of banking regulations and laws
• 4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• 5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• 6. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• 7. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and precision
• 8. Possession of a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management is an added advantage
