HR & FACILITY OFFICER

KAMPALA, UGANDA

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, leave, payroll information, and HR documentation.
2. Recruitment & Employee Lifecycle: Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and related employee documentation.
3. Employee Relations & Compliance: Support disciplinary, performance, and employee relations processes while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.
4. HR Reporting & Documentation: Prepare HR letters, reports, audit documents, and maintain accurate HR records and working documents.
5. Facility & Safety Management: Coordinate facility maintenance, housekeeping, utilities, security, health and safety, and environmental compliance.
6. Operational Support: Collaborate with management and relevant teams to address HR and facility matters and identify opportunities for improved efficiency.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management
2. At least 2-3 years of experience in HR operations in a fast paced environment
3. Good knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and workplace compliance.
4. Strong organizational, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with high attention to confidentiality and detail.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HRIS or other digital HR systems.
