• Fuel and Resource Management • Monitor and report on fuel usage across all vehicles, identifying variances and ensuring fuel is used efficiently. • Implement systems to track cost per kilometre or litre for each vehicle. • Maintain accurate records of fuel distribution, fuel receipts, and storage. • Ensure proper fuel security and storage across all operational sites. • Logistics Coordination and Reporting • Develop and manage delivery schedules that align with factory intake and export dispatch timelines. • Ensure the entire domestic logistics system runs efficiently and cost-effectively, minimizing delays and maximising resource use. • Produce weekly and monthly reports on vehicle movement, third-party transport use, fuel consumption, cost comparisons, and logistical KPIs. • Support logistics planning during peak harvest seasons and special projects.

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. • Minimum of 3/4 years of experience in fleet or logistics management, preferably in the agricultural or export sector. Any industry would be considered. • Strong knowledge of Ugandan road networks, transport regulations, and cost control in fleets. • Experience managing external suppliers and transport contractors. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and fleet tracking systems. • Valid driving permit (Class B/C) required. • Strong planning and coordination skills. • High attention to cost efficiency and budgeting. • Analytical with strong reporting capabilities. • Clear communicator with field teams and senior management. • High integrity, discipline, and reliability. • Very good people person, able to work well and effectively with all types of roles and levels.
