KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting to ensure sustainability and growth. • Maintain accurate financial records, including bookkeeping and accounting, to track revenue, expenses, and cash flow. • Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize resources and improve business performance. • Prepare financial reports and statements to support decision-making by management. • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies. • Assist in setting up financial structures and policies that align with the network marketing and direct selling model of UBUCHANGE. • Train and mentor disadvantaged youth and women on financial literacy and basic business finance, helping them manage their earnings and grow their businesses. • Collaborate with management to develop strategies for business expansion and funding opportunities. • Support UBUCHANGE’s financial stability and ensure transparency in all financial operations.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in financial management, bookkeeping, or accounting.Experience working with social enterprises, direct selling companies, or community-based organizations is a plus. • Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, taxation, and cash flow management. • Experience using accounting software and financial reporting tools. • Passion for Africa’s economic development and a commitment to empowering disadvantaged communities. • Personal experience as a refugee or disadvantaged individual is a strong advantage, as we prioritize individuals who understand the challenges our communities face. • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and mentor others. • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and grow with the organization.
