KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and reporting to support strategic decision-making • Oversee financial transactions, payroll processing, and compliance with Ugandan tax laws • Ensure effective financial systems, accountability, and internal controls • Track accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and ethical financial records • Manage financial audits and liaise with EMI Global and Mobilizing Office finance teams • Supervise the Finance Administrator and other finance staff
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
• Vibrant Christian faith • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage) • 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in a non-profit organization • ACCA/CPA and Strong knowledge of Ugandan tax laws, financial reporting, and audit processes • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and financial analysis tools • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
