• Essential: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. • Professional certification in CPA or ACCA or CIMA. • Preferred: • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. • Membership in a recognized professional accounting body (e.g., ICPAU, ACCA, CIMA). • Must be a Ugandan citizen • 3. Experience • Essential: • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role. • Strong experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. • Proficiency in using financial systems such as Sage, QuickBooks, or SAP. • Knowledge of tax regulations, statutory compliance, and financial risk management. • Preferred • Experience working in a multinational or regional company. • Familiarity with fleet management financial systems like FleetWave. • Prior experience in the logistics or leasing industry. • 4. Skills / Knowledge • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling. • Excellent understanding of IFRS and GAAP financial principles. • Strong communication and leadership skills. • Experience in process automation and system optimization. • Strong negotiation and contract management skills. • Knowledge of Uganda’s financial regulatory environment. • 5. Personal Qualities • High level of integrity and ethical standards. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
