KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• 1. Management and Administration of Finances, Logistics, and Partner Relations • Ensure compliance with finance policies, procedures, and relevant local labor regulations. • Prepare and maintain financial forecasts. • Design and execute appropriate finance tools. • Support budget planning for the global annual budget and fundraising efforts. • Manage relationships with donors and other partners. • Coordinate bid evaluation and procurement processes with proper documentation. • Assist in planning, implementing, and following up on workshops and training organized by Global. • Assist in managing personnel records in close liaison with the Program Manager. • Oversee travel arrangements and monitor travel expenditure. • 2. Finance, Accounting, Monitoring, and Reporting • Ensure efficient financial accounting, budget management, and expense monitoring/reporting. • Prepare and submit quality financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annually) using accounting software. • Implement internal financial controls and payment processes to achieve value for money. • Ensure timely liquidation of expenses. • Prepare and provide cash management to ensure fund availability for operations. • Ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions. • 3. Supervision and Capacity Building • Supervise and build capacity of the finance and program teams on financial processes.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
• University degree in Commerce, Statistics, Economics, or related field; Master’s in Business Administration, Finance, or Human Resource preferred. • Holder of CPA, ACCA, or other internationally accredited professional accounting certification. • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in financial management, accounting, planning, performance management, monitoring, evaluation, and capacity building in national or international NGOs. • Experience in designing and managing budgets and reporting formats acceptable to international NGOs. • Familiarity with donor guideline compliance. • Expertise in using various accounting software packages. • Experience in managing dynamic staff, multi-donor projects, and sub-grants. • Experience in procurement, stores, and fleet management. • Experience in a refugee work environment is highly desirable. • Knowledge of main local languages spoken in Kiryandongo and Adjumani refugee settlements is an added advantage. • Personal Specifications: • Creative, energetic, self-confident, and flexible; thrives in a dynamic multicultural environment. • Adaptable, team player, and of high integrity. • Possesses leadership qualities and the ability to mentor/inspire others. • Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills. • Willingness to conduct field visits and attend project-related workshops and meetings. • Effective time management and availability at the duty station. • Alignment with Global’s vision and core values (justice, love, courage, openness, creativity).
