Rosewood Motel is a hospitality destination in Nansana, Uganda, offering
accommodation, dining and wellness experiences. Rosewood is developing a
more refined boutique hospitality experience built around comfortable stays,
quality dining, attentive service and relaxation.
Role Overview
We are looking for a professional female Massage Therapist / Masseuse to join
the Rosewood Spa team. The therapist will provide high-quality massage and
wellness treatments while maintaining a calm, clean and professional environment
for guests.
The ideal candidate should be well-presented, courteous, skilled and
comfortable working with a diverse range of clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide professional massage and wellness treatments to guests.
• Deliver services with care, professionalism and attention to guest comfort.
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and treatment needs.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic and relaxing treatment environment.
• Prepare the treatment room, equipment, towels and required products before each session.
• Follow appropriate massage and hygiene procedures.
• Recommend suitable treatments or packages based on guest needs.
• Maintain professional boundaries and guest confidentiality at all times.
• Keep accurate records of treatments and products used where required.
• Maintain the presentation and cleanliness of the Spa.
• Work with the Motel Manager to support Rosewood’s wellness packages and guest experience.
• Contribute ideas for new treatments, packages and wellness experiences.

Requirements
• Certificate or professional training in Massage Therapy, Beauty Therapy, Wellness or a related field.
• Previous experience as a massage therapist, preferably in a hotel, spa or wellness environment.
• Good knowledge of massage techniques and basic client care.
• Strong personal hygiene and professional presentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Warm, respectful and customer-focused personality.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays where required.
Preferred
• Experience working in a hotel or boutique spa.
• Training in multiple massage techniques.
• Experience with couples’ treatments and wellness packages.
• Ability to upsell Spa treatments professionally without being pushy.
• Local experience within Kampala or surrounding areas.
