• Prepare preventive maintenance schedules. • Plan for electrical maintenance spares and consumables. • Communicate to management on any anticipated equipment failures. • Analyse existing systems for efficiency improvements; implement solutions that enhance productivity. • Give technical support to the Maintenance Electrical team and department. • Implement the preventive maintenance programs and quick recovery actions for the machine breakdown • Prepare monthly evaluation and maintenance reports. • Provide periodic inspection and maintenance of the safety and measuring equipment. • Lead and supervise the activities of the maintenance staff. • Ensure safety of the maintenance team and the machine operators. • Carry out routine condition monitoring of machines. • Trouble shoot power system problems in the factory • Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor

• The ideal candidate should have five (5) years of working experience in a steel manufacturing environment in the same role as Electrical Engineer • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or or a related field from an accredited institution. • Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic equipment • Familiar with ISO management systems is added advantage • Exceptional technical, problem-solving skills and reasoning ability • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
