KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Drive Pearl Dairy vehicles/authorized passengers to specified destinations in line with Pearl Dairy vehicle usage policy
• Deliver packages, goods, mails, and any other information to specified people, places, and offices within Pearl Dairy
• Check the vehicle status/condition (e.g., engine oil, water, nuts, battery water, license, Third Party Insurance, brakes, tire pressure, etc.) prior to any journey and carry out regular vehicle repairs (e.g., correcting hard start, tightening bolts and nuts, topping up battery water, etc.) in line with Pearl Dairy vehicle policy
• Maintain the hygiene of the vehicle
• Report all major and minor damages and accidents on the vehicle to the supervisor in line with Pearl Dairy vehicle policies
• Monitor the security of the vehicle, authorized passengers, and luggage in line with the vehicle policy
• Record and maintain a travel log to document areas traveled to, travel time, and work hours
• Always maintain the assigned vehicle in a clean state
• Prepare and submit vehicle monthly reports in line with the Pearl Dairy Vehicle Policy
• Strictly observe Traffic Rules and Regulations and the maximum speed limit as prescribed by the traffic regulatory authority
• Observe and maintain regular working hours and park the vehicle at the designated parking area at all times
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend appropriate repairs or parts replacements
• Assist in the diagnosis and basic repair of motorcycles and light company vehicles when needed
• Report major mechanical issues promptly to the Fleet Manager

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
• Certificate in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or Mechanical Engineering
• Holds a valid driving permit
• Minimum 2 years of experience in tricycle or motorcycle repair; experience with light vehicles is an added advantage
• Ability to prioritize work in relation to need and urgency
• A working knowledge of photocopier, computer, and telephone preferred
• Mechanical knowledge is required
• First Aid skills are required
• Knowledge of safe road use is needed
• Effective written and verbal communication in English (and any other local language(s))
• Ability to diagnose mechanical problems using appropriate tools and equipment
• In-depth understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems relevant to tricycles, motorcycles, and basic vehicle mechanics
