Vanguard Economics Uganda is offering an internship for a skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join its growing team. The Data Analyst will play a key role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that support evidence-based decision-making while learning from the wider team at VE. The opportunity will involve collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform projects, reports, and strategic recommendations for our clients and stakeholders.
This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical thinker with a passion for using data to drive impact in policy, research, and development initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in statistical and data analysis software (e.g., Stata, R, Python, SPSS).
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
- Familiarity with econometric techniques and impact evaluation is desirable.
