KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Greet and assist walk-in customers in a friendly and professional manner. • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or services. • Provide accurate information on product features, pricing, availability, and warranties. • Guide customers through the sales process and assist with product selection. • Prepare and process sales orders, invoices, and payment receipts. • Coordinate with the sales and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery. • Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally. • Follow up with customers after sales to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business. • Maintain a customer database and update records regularly. • Ensure the showroom is clean, well-organized, and displays are well-stocked and visually appealing. • Monitor inventory levels and inform management of low-stock items. • Provide daily/weekly reports on customer visits, sales performance, and feedback. • Share customer insights and suggestions for service or product improvement. • Work closely with the sales, marketing, and inventory teams to meet customer needs. • Participate in product training and team meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Customer Service, or related field. • At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar position. • Strong knowledge of the manufacturing industry. • Strong experience in handling sales transactions, customer complaints, and inventory coordination. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. • Sales-oriented with persuasive and negotiation abilities. • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. • Good organizational and time management skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems. • Professional appearance and a positive attitude. • Barriers to Success in Role: • Limited or lack of knowledge of sales and customer service. • Inability to speak Rutooro, Lusoga, Luganda, or Ateso languages. • Inability to influence and negotiate.
