To drive quality credit business, build strong customer relationships and effectively manage an assigned loan portfolio.

The successful candidates will be responsible for customer acquisition, business development,credit appraisal, portfolio management and collections, while ensuring compliance with the organisation’s credit and risk requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers and business opportunities.
• Market credit products and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
• Achieve a minimum monthly disbursement target of UGX 150 million.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Assess customers’ credit needs and repayment capacity.
• Prepare and follow up credit applications through approval and disbursement.
• Monitor loan portfolio performance and repayment.
• Conduct follow-ups and collection activities on overdue accounts.
• Maintain portfolio quality, with PAR 30, PAR 60, PAR 90 and NPL below 5%.
• Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, credit policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate customer records and submit required reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Commerce, Microfinance or a related field.
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience in credit, lending, microfinance, banking or financial services.
• Demonstrable experience in customer acquisition, loan appraisal, portfolio management and collections.
• Experience working against business and portfolio quality targets is highly desirable.
• Strong sales, relationship management, credit appraisal and analytical skills.
• High integrity, accountability and professionalism.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant credit/loan management systems.
