Baikal Financial Services Ltd is hiring a Credit Manager to oversee the credit operations of our Bukoto branch, ensuring sound lending practices, risk management, and portfolio growth. This role is critical to maintaining the quality of our loan portfolio while supporting clientsâ€™ financial needs.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

â€¢ Evaluate loan applications, conduct credit assessments, and approve or recommend loans. â€¢ Develop and implement credit policies and risk management strategies. â€¢ Monitor loan portfolio performance and manage delinquency rates. â€¢ Train and guide staff on credit processes and customer engagement. â€¢ Collaborate with the Branch Manager to achieve business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

â€¢ Bachelorâ€™s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. â€¢ At least 3 yearsâ€™ experience in credit management, preferably in microfinance or banking. â€¢ Strong analytical skills and knowledge of credit risk assessment. â€¢ Familiarity with Ugandaâ€™s financial sector regulations. â€¢ Commitment to ethical lending and financial inclusion.
