KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Evaluate loan applications, conduct credit assessments, and approve or recommend loans.
• Develop and implement credit policies and risk management strategies.
• Monitor loan portfolio performance and manage delinquency rates.
• Train and guide staff on credit processes and customer engagement.
• Collaborate with the Branch Manager to achieve business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years’ experience in credit management, preferably in microfinance or banking.
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of credit risk assessment.
• Familiarity with Uganda’s financial sector regulations.
• Commitment to ethical lending and financial inclusion.
