ROLE OVERVIEW

The incumbent will be responsible for leading the design, operation and continuous optimization of real-time communications (Voice) services aligned to Cassava’s 5C + 1P strategic pillars (Connectivity, Colocation, Compute & AI, Cloud, Cyber Security and Payments). The role ensures high availability, service resilience, revenue protection, and drives transformation towards cloud-native, secure and AI-enabled communications platforms.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure service availability targets (≥99.95%) and SLA compliance

•Troubleshoot and resolve incidents within defined SLAs

•Drive internal capability to reduce contractor dependency

•Lead transformation of voice infrastructure, customer connections and support, wireless systems and cloud-based systems

•Support rapid service activation and customer onboarding

•Collaborate with commercial teams to accelerate revenue realization

•Implement monitoring, automation and continuous improvement initiatives

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Telecommunications/Electronics or Electrical Engineering or IT

•4–6 years’ experience in voice, core or IP network operations

•Strong knowledge of VoIP, SIP, IMS, routing and switching

•Exposure to Cloud, Cyber Security or Virtualization platforms is an advantage

•Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Voice, Cloud or Security) preferred
