• Education • Advanced university degree in a relevant field (International Development, Social Sciences, Gender Studies, or a related field), or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience from an Accredited University. • Experience • At least 5 years’ relevant experience in community peacebuilding, conflict transformation, or cross-border initiatives and capacity building. • Demonstrated experience in facilitating inclusive dialogue and working with marginalized or vulnerable groups. • Proven understanding of migration issues and experience in preparing written reports and public presentation. • Skills • Excellent policy research, analytical, and writing skills. • Experience in developing research tools will be an added advantage. • Experience in stakeholder engagement especially with government and private sector. • Knowledge of the geographical scope of the Borderland areas of Goli and Vurra. • Proven ability to produce quality work accurately and concisely according to set deadline. • Languages • Fluency in English • Fluency in Alur and Lugbara is an added advantage • IOM’s official languages are English, French and Spanish. • Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
