Cash Team Leader

DRC Uganda is currently looking for a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Cash Team Leader.
The overall purpose of the role:
The Cash Team Leader will lead DRC’s field-based implementation teams and will be responsible for the effective delivery and day-to-day management of cash assistance activities within the area of operation. This role will ensure strong technical oversight of cash programming, adherence to established standards and operational proceedures, and the delivery of high-quality, accountable assistance. He/she will ensure that activities are effectively planned, implemented, and adapted based on ongoing monitoring, learning and community feedback. He/she will also contribute to reporting processes, support the review and revision of project documentation, and actively engage in coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective programme implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
About you
To be successful in this role, you must have at least 4 years of experience working in an international humanitarian and/or development aid, preferably with displaced populations, and with at least 2 years in project management. Moreover, we also expect the following.
Required
- A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, International Development, Social Sciences, or a related field, or comparable practical experience
- Technical expertise and experience in cash programming
- Robust analytical and strategic planning skills
- Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding programme targets, whilst maintaining technical quality
- Highly diplomatic with excellent political awareness and understanding
- High-level communications and interpersonal skills
- A demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with host governments, donors, partners, local organizations, and other stakeholders
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Knowledge of both written & Spoken English
