1. ROLE OVERVIEW

AfricaPay is seeking an experienced Card Portfolio Specialist for a Client opportunity in Kampala, Uganda. The role is responsible for driving growth, profitability, and optimization of the card business across two subsidiaries. It focuses on enhancing the customer value proposition, accelerating digital adoption, and ensuring sustainable portfolio performance through data-driven strategies and cross-functional execution.

2. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Monitor and optimize portfolio performance, including approval rates, spend growth, credit specialization, and pricing effectiveness
• Design and execute data-driven customer campaigns to drive acquisition, activation, and spend.
• Lead sales and marketing initiatives, including acquisition programs, promotions, and revenue optimization actions
• Coordinate campaign execution across stakeholders and improve operational efficiency across fraud, operations, and sales.
• Drive product innovation and refine card value propositions in collaboration with internal teams and the Client.
• Increase digital adoption across portfolios and track revenue, cost, profitability, risks, and performance gaps.
