• Communicate messages regarding systems issues to users in a timely manner. • Develop and generate reports as per user/business requirements. • Implement, test and integrate new applications. • Install new operation systems and releases. • Investigate, diagnose and resolve system faults and errors. • Liaise with service providers when needed to fulfil the requirements of the organization. • Maintain documentation of key databases and applications linked to them. • Monitor Business and third-party systems and ensure they are always available to users and customers. • Monitor, record and respond to requests for support. • Participate and coordinate the Disaster Recovery Plan and testing. • Participate in the identification and development of functionality changes. • Participate in the preparation of technical specification as a roadmap for third party systems. • Perform routine system backups and upgrades. • Provide instructions and training to staff when necessary. • Schedule and run regular tests to enhance the current systems and applications.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or any other related field. • Experience of at least 3 years in IT Operations. • Experience in software development or database administration in a busy organization. • Microsoft and Database Management certification is desirable. • Should possess 2 principal passes at A’ level and credits/pass in Mathematics and English at O’Level. • He/she should not be more than 40 years of age.
