Job Summary:
The Assistant QA Manager will support the QA Manager in overseeing quality assurance operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining robust quality systems.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy

A postgraduate qualification in Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, or Management will be an added advantage

At least seven (7) years of relevant experience
Skills and Competencies

Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and regulatory requirements

Experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) implementation and maintenance
-
Ability to manage deviations, change control, and CAPA processes effectively
-
Experience with internal audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance monitoring
-
Knowledge of risk management and root cause analysis techniques
-
Strong documentation and data integrity management skills

Strong leadership and team management skills
-
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

High level of attention to detail

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively across departments

Strong organizational and time management skills
