Provide technical assistance and guidance to implementing teams and external stakeholders. 2.Operations Management a) Coordinate daily laboratory activities, ensuring compliance with SOPs, GCLP, and safety regulations. • b) Oversee procurement, inventory, and maintenance of reagents and equipment. c) Ensure data integrity, security, and traceability across all assays. • d) Lead or participate in assay optimization for priority pathogens. • 3.Quality, Compliance & Safety • a) Uphold internal and external regulatory standards, including IATA, IRB, and national biosafety guidelines. • b) Maintain accreditation status and ensure continuous participation in External Quality Assurance (EQA) schemes. c) Conduct regular safety training, enforce compliance protocols, and maintain audit readiness. • 4.Capacity Building & Documentation a) Develop and review SOPs, training manuals, and orientation materials for new staff and trainees. • b) Mentor junior staff and support ongoing professional development. • c) Lead internal refresher and certification training in GCLP, GCP, IATA, and laboratory biosafety. Minimum Qualifications a) Bachelor’s degree in biomedical laboratory technology or related field (MSc is an added advantage).
