• Lead the implementation of the financial strategy, governance & policy • Oversee treasury, liquidity & FX management • Ensure financial accounting, close and reporting • Lead the development of grants, donor compliance and manage the partner/sub-award management systems • Set up Systems, Data & Process Excellence • Ensure Controls over Mobile Money, petty cash, receivables & payables • Oversee the management of procurement, inventory, assets & fleet • Develop audit, risk & assurance management systems • Ensure the leadership & capability of the finance department

• A master’s degree in a Finance, accounting, business administration, operations, or other related discipline from a recognized university • Bachelors degree in Finance and Accounting discipline from a recognized university • Fully completed Accounting qualification/certification e.g. CA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA • 10+ years’ progressive finance leadership with ≥ 5 years in (I)NGO multi-donor context and field operations. • Expert knowledge of IFRS (incl. IFRS 9), treasury and cash management, and external audit liaison. • Demonstrated donor compliance with EU/UNHCR (and other institutional donors), including sub-award lifecycle management. • Strong ERP/FMIS leadership (MS Dynamics), segregation of duties, month-end discipline and reporting automation. • Proven team leadership, change management and process optimization across HQ/field settings. • Excellent spoken and written English; strong presentation skills for Board/FARM committee; proficiency with Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI). • Ability to provide financial analysis and interpretation to Country Management Team for decision-making. • Knowledge of government policies and regulations on financial management and taxation • Risk analysis and risk management experience
