• Controlling • Provide reliable and accurate financial and management advice • Budgeting and Financial Planning • Lead the monthly and annual budgeting processes • Own all the financial metrics/ goals and ensure they are realized by coordinating with all relevant stakeholders • Provide rigorous financial modeling and review with the management team • Ensure compliance with Uganda and international tax laws and financial reporting • Audit and Internal Controls • Coordinate with external auditors ensuring audits are completed across the group entities • Manage and enforce the financial procedures across the company • Own the internal control procedures to increase the efficiency of operations and minimize business exposure • Procurement & Administration • Oversee purchasing operations of the business and offer best practices across all our operations • Track and report on grant financial performance as well as grant narrative • Ensure adherence to grants policies

• Minimum 8 years in relevant financial management • Deep knowledge of accounting software, group level accounting rules, and financial analysis • CPA, ACCA preferred • Experience in consolidating financial reporting across multiple entities and countries • Transfer pricing experience an added advantage • Strong analytical and organizational skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities • Team player with excellent ability to work autonomously and lead of a program of projects • You’re excited about making a positive change to the life end-users and the environment • You love building teams, processes, and mentoring great talent • You want to work in an open, collaborative, iterative, fast-paced environment • You are honest, compassionate, supportive, and pleasant to work with
