• Receive and process payments (cash or cheque) and disburse payments to creditors. • Ensure accuracy and compliance in receipt and payment transactions. • Post all transactions accurately and timely into the accounting system. • Participate in daily sales team balancing and reconciliations. • Manage petty cash imprest and ensure accountability. • Monitor transactions to ensure proper recording and security of collected funds. • File and code incoming vouchers/documents per the chart of accounts. • Maintain and update debtors’ and creditors’ schedules. • Support preparation of monthly and annual income and expenditure reports. • Participate in internal and external audit exercises. • Conduct periodic stock-taking of assets and update the fixed assets register. • Assist the Accountant with cash flow projections and financial reporting.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field. • Proficiency in tax compliance and filing. • Prior experience in FMCG or distribution environments is highly desirable. • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification or active pursuit is an advantage. • Sound knowledge of accounting systems and practices. • Ability to work long hours and under pressure. • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
